Driver Training
Driver Training courses are advertised through Next Step Continuing Education; however, the course and materials are the responsibility of the individual driving school. AMA's schedule of available course dates are posted below.
Driver's Education courses are designed to help new drivers gain the fundamental skills, knowledge and attitudes that will allow them to safely coexist in today's driving environment. The courses are interactive, interesting and aim to improve driver performance and reduce collisions. To register for a driver training session, students must be 14 years of age or older, and have a valid Class 7 Learner's License.
Alberta Motor Association (AMA)
Eighteen (18) hours of classroom lectures to accompany the AMA Driver Training Program are held at Salisbury Composite High School and Fort Saskatchewan High School. For further information and to register, call A.M.A. at 780-474-8620.
