Sherry Ash
Line Dance 
Sherry loves to teach, dance and have fun. She has many years of experience in all three areas! Sherry has participated in several line-dancing workshops and has taught line-dancing in her physical education classes.  She enjoys working with enthusiastic students where she can learn, practice and teach new dance styles.

Irv Barros
Wine Educator
Irv has been leading wine tastings in Alberta for over twenty years.  He is a member of the International Association of Wine Educators and has recently completed the Diploma level of the International Sommelier Guild.  Irv has twelve years experience in the wine retail business and has travelled extensively through wine regions on three continents.  

Shirleen Boutcher
Baby Signs Parent Workshop
Shirleen is a certified teacher and Baby Signs instructor. A mother of two young children, Shirleen has first-hand experience of the wonders of Baby Signs.

Lanny Boutin
Writing for Magazines 
Lanny is a freelance writer and has more than 200 magazine articles to her name. Lanny's books have been chosen for numerous honors including being listed in the Edmonton Public Schools Board's notables list and a spot on the Canadian Children's Book Centre as �best of 2007". She also received the Canadian Authors Association's 2007 Exporting Alberta Award for the best book by an Alberta CAA member.

Teresa Castro-Albarracin
Spanish Instructor
Teresa graduated as a teacher in her native Peru, where she taught for some years before coming to Canada. Teresa has been teaching Spanish in our Continuing Education program and in the Faculty of Extension U of A since 1999. Her goal as an instructor is not only to teach the language, but also to share her knowledge of the culture. She has taken several adult education courses at the U of A and she has attended many other conferences and workshops to keep current with language instruction.

Elissa Corsi
Italian Instructor
Elissa has a Masters degree in Italian studies and has taught beginner Italian at the University of Toronto. She lived in Italy for four years while teaching English and returns there each summer.

Edna Dach
Photography Instructor
Edna, Education Manager, School Technology Sector, Alberta Education, has been involved in instructing technology courses for a number of years. She has presented provincially, nationally and at the international level. She is an avid photographer.

Christine Darichuk, B.Ed., B.Lib.Sc, LLB
Business and Law Courses
Christine has a background in education, business and law. She has taught at post secondary levels, performed management functions and practiced law. During the practice of law, she advised many small, medium and large businesses from start-up to success. She is a resident of 37 years in Sherwood Park.

Imelda Dykstra
Spanish Language and Mexican Cooking Instructor
Imelda, who comes from Central Mexico, has been teaching conversational Spanish for 14 years. As a member of the Edmonton Hispanic Bilingual Association, she teaches an advanced level of Spanish to adults who want to be immersed in Spanish culture. Experienced working with home-schooled students as well as the business community, Imelda is also an experienced Spanish translator.

Donna Griffin
Photography Instructor
Donna has been working with computer technology for several years as a teacher with Elk Island Public Schools and has taught numerous courses about technology for the school system, as well as for Continuing Education.

Trish Haugen
Watercolour for Absolute Beginners
Trish is a retired art teacher with over 35 years of art instruction experience and works in a variety of art mediums with a passion for watercolours.

Sandy Jones
Accounting Software Instructor
Sandy brings to her students 20 years of diverse word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, database, desktop publishing and bookkeeping experience. Armed with her NAIT Master Instructor training and a passion for teaching, she is excited to share her knowledge and skills.

Peter Koladich
Dance Instructor
Peter has danced and instructed for 20 years across Canada, the USA and on cruise lines. His love of dancing shows as he leads you gently and effectively through various dance patterns. Peter's emphasis is on having fun.

Peter Kossowan
Public Speaking Instructor
Peter's experience as a presenter includes numerous speaking assignments in Canada and the United States.  Peter is a founding member of the Alberta Speakers and Trainers Associations and has trained and coached all levels of speakers ranging from high school students and debaters to provincial and federal candidates and politicians.  A diligent community supporter, Peter was presented the ‘Award of Excellence' by the City of Edmonton in 1999 for his world breaking record in creating more than one hundred Toastmaster Clubs.

Steve Lauder, CPGA
Adult Golf Instructor
Steve is the Head Teaching Professional at Long Shotz Range. This will be his 13th year teaching in the Sherwood Park area.

Jeannie Lundgard, M.Ed., R. Psych.
Student Enrichment
Jeannie Lundgard is an experienced educator specializing in brain based learning strategies. She incorporates techniques derived from Cognitive Ability Patterning, Brain Gym, Touch Math, Accelerated Learning, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and others. Her mission is to assist families to feel and be more "at home with learning".

Gordon C. Millard
Leisurely Paced Computer Instructor
Gordon has several years experience in the computer industry in training, support, sales and management.  He has taught Microsoft Office applications with NAIT and Network Learning Masters in Edmonton.  Gordon uses a variety of teaching styles to ensure his students receive the instruction best suited to their needs.

Rachel Prusko
Rachel received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Alberta, and has been teaching first-year college English courses since 2000.  She is currently an English instructor at Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton.

Darshan Riar
East Indian Cuisine
Darshan has taught East Indian cooking for over thirty years to adults. She believes that learning to cook is not a spectator sport thus her classes are not course of study, but rather they are activity workshops.

Joe Schmidt
Computer Instructor
Joe has been teaching Continuing Education computer classes for over 10 years. Joe is a popular instructor who encourages his students to continue developing their computer skills.

Irene Sombyk
Ukrainian Instructor
Irene currently teaches at Father Kenneth Kearns School in the Ukrainian Bilingual Program. 

Chris Taylor
French Language Instructor
Chris, born in Montreal, Quebec, raised by a French mother, currently teaches French credit classes at Salisbury Composite High School. Chris studied at the Faculté St. Jean and earned his bilingual B.Ed. A.D..
