Refund Policies

Cancellations 

If a course does not meet the enrolment minimum and is therefore cancelled by Next Step Continuing Education, every effort will be made to accommodate you in another course. If there is no other course which is satisfactory to you, you will receive a full refund. 

Diploma Credit Course (including 60 Level) Refund Policy

All refunds for credit courses are subject to a $40 administrative processing fee.

A $25 textbook rental fee and the $15 lab fee will be charged if students do not withdraw from a course at least 2 business days before the course start date. 

For students born before September 1, 1988, 50% of the registration fee will be retained if a withdrawal request occurs after the second class but before the start of the third class. No refunds will be issued after the start of the third class. Non-attendance or no-shows do not constitute a withdrawal. Students must officially withdraw through the Next Step Continuing Education office.

Non-Credit Course Refund Policy

All refunds for non-credit courses including Student Enrichment, Computer, Leisurely Paced Computer, Language, Business, Law, Finance, Photography, General Interest, Wellness and Golf courses are subject to a $40 administrative processing fee. Refunds are not given if the request is made less than 2 business days before the start of the first class.

NSF Cheques

NSF cheques and credit card chargebacks are subject to an administration fee equal to current bank charges.
