Registration Information

Register for Summer School at the Continuing Education office, 20 Festival Way (Salisbury Composite High School), Sherwood Park, from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Thursday and Friday 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Registrations can also be submitted by mail, phone, fax and email.  Payment of all fees are due at time of registration.

Summer School classes are open to high school students and mature students. It provides students an opportunity to make up deficiencies or to adjust conflicts in timetables.  Students entering Grade 10 in September 2010 are eligible to enroll in summer school through Continuing Education. All students, including students from other school jurisdictions, are welcome to attend EIPS' Continuing Education Summer School.

Class Locations

All credit and diploma courses are held at Salisbury Composite High School with the exception of Phys. Ed. 10 which will be held at either Salisbury Composite High School or Bev Facey Community High School during the 1st session and Salisbury Composite High School during the second session. 

Fees for Credit and Diploma Courses

  • Application fee - $40 (non-refundable) (cost for students born after Sept. 1/88)
  • Application fee for Mature Students - $425 ($40 non-refundable) (cost for students born on or before Sept. 1/88)
  • CALM fee - $90 ($40 non-refundable Application fee plus $50 material fee)
  • Physical Education 10 fee - $90 ($40 non-refundable Application fee plus $50 course expenses)
  • Lab fee - $15 for each science course
  • Diploma exam write fee - $15 for each diploma written
  • Textbook Rental - $85 ($60 refunded upon return of textbook in good condition)
  • International Student fee - $119 per credit plus $65 for each written diploma exam
