Woodworking Equipment: Set Up and Maintenance (NEW)

It’s one thing to know how to operate a table saw, band saw or hand plane; it’s another to sharpen and adjust them to make those satisfying cuts and shavings. Continuing from the ‘Basic Operation’ class we will go through the maintenance of the most commonly used machines and hand tools including sharpening chisels and hand planes. Should there be interest, we will also go over ways of sharpening lathe tools. If you have a favorite hand plane, chisel or lathe tool you’d like to learn to sharpen, please bring it along.
