EIPS Summer School

Registration for EIPS Summer School opens April 19, 2022. The Summer School program offers a number of senior high courses that allow students to earn credits, upgrade marks, lighten workloads for the year ahead or finish pre-requisite courses.

Registration is open to:
- current EIPS students (grades 9-12)
- students who will enter an EIPS high school for the 2022-23 school year, as of Sept. 1, 2022.
- Grade 9 students who meet this eligibility are only able to register in Career and Life Management 20, Physical Education 10, Competencies in Math 15 or Work Experience/RAP.

Students outside the division should contact their current school board to inquire about programs available to them.

Pre-requisite course requirement: In consultation with Alberta Education and senior administration at EIPS, if there is a pre-requisite course needed for the student’s summer class (for example, Social 20-1 to prepare for Social 30-1), that pre-requisite must have been successfully completed by June 25, 2022.

5 credit and 3 credit (two sessions) courses run during the month of July only.*

*If you are taking a course with a diploma exam, those exams are scheduled on specific days in August as released by Alberta Education. Refer to August Diploma Exam Information for details.

Classes will be conducted in person at Bev Facey Community High School.

Work Experience and RAP run until the end of August.
